WorleyParsons China, the largest international engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) service provider in China, today announced that it has changed its corporate name from MaisonWorleyParsons.
The new name symbolises the strategic importance of the Chinese market to WorleyParsons global operations.
“Our China operations combine local excellence of service with international strength by maintaining the depth, quality and scale of resources necessary to meet our customers’ needs no matter where they are located” said Karl Qiu, President of WorleyParsons China.
“WorleyParsons has been successfully operating in China for over 12 years and the rename signals our ability to handle larger, more complex projects. Our strategic focus is to promote our China based operation to a wider audience around the world.”
Spanning offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Nanjing, Chengdu, Shenyang, and Shenzhen, WorleyParsons China’s 2500 personnel deliver successful project solutions for customers such as Evonik, BASF, Celanese, Dow, DuPont, Chevron, Shell, CNPC, CNOOC, P&G, CAMCE, MCC, FMG, Vale and Ivanhoe.
Recent signature project awards in China include the Soresco Refinery, Evonik Chemical / MUSC, major BASF chemical projects, partnerships with Sasol and Siemens for China sourcing services, CNOOC Cold Energy ASU and successful project completions such as the Novartis Energy Centre (Tri-generation), the Ibn Sina POM FEED (Polyoxymethylene).
