WorleyParsons China has appointed Mr John Rawlings as the Director of the Gas Turbine Delivery Centre (GTDC) in China.
“Mr Rawlings brings over 35 years’ experience in turbine manufacturing, electrical engineering, business development, marketing and management to our business. Furthermore, he has a solid and comprehensive understanding of the Chinese language and oriental culture through his 10 years’ experience with Siemens and Alstom North East Asia in China which will serve our customers well.” says Mr Karl Qiu, President of WorleyParsons China.
Mr Rawlings will be responsible for the development and management of the GTDC that includes gas turbine project pursuit, proposal, execution and delivery, capability build-up, staffing and training. He has completed international assignments in Middle East, Africa, SE Asia and mainland China within the infrastructure, manufacturing and power generation industries and has been an international COO/Senior Manager/President of operating companies and businesses such as Rolls Royce, Industrial Power Group, Parsons Power Generation Systems, Siemens Ltd. China, Alstom Power Service North East Asia and Vestas Wind Systems A/S.
