On 15 December 2011, WorleyParsons China, the largest International EPCM service provider in China, held their annual customer appreciation dinner at the Marriott Hotel, Beijing.
This highly successful event gathered together representatives from the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), as well as customers from leading state owned and foreign enterprises in the resources and energy sector. The attendees included Evonik, BASF, Celanese, Dow Corning, INVISTA, Siemens, TOTAL, Peabody, BlueStar, CNOOC and CNPC.
WorleyParsons Board and Executive Committee members from overseas were also in attendance to jointly host this event.
Mr Karl Qiu, President of WorleyParsons China, gave the initial welcome speech. His comments were reinforced by Mr John Grill, WorleyParsons’ Chief Executive Officer, who commented, “I am honoured by your presence and thank you for your continued support of our business. WorleyParsons will continue strengthening its Chinese operation and will be ready and able to support your future business aspirations, wherever they may be located.”
In his closing speech, Mr Ron McNeilly, Chairman of the WorleyParsons Board said: “We are looking forward, with confidence, to working with you all in 2012 and completing further mutually beneficial and valuable business together.”
